This paper presents a novel corner detection method based on curvature. Curvature values are
estimated by applying a simplified curvature operator to an orientation field image. Edge-based curvature
estimation is quite difficult due to the incomplete edge detection process. However, the change of orientation
can provide a clue to the structurally important corners. According to the experiments, the proposed method can
detect structurally meaningful corners with relatively small computational complexity
